The Cafe by the Lake is at Sumners Ponds Fishery and Campsite, and is open to the general public during peak times from 8.30am until 6.00pm every day, and 9.00am until 5.00pm during lower seasons, 363 days a year, serving hot food, drinks, snacks and ice cream. Enjoy a full English breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea on the decking overlooking the lake, or something a bit more warming, during the winter, inside the cosy restaurant. All meals can be provided on an eat-in or take-away basis.
Evening meals are available during the Summer months, and tasty Bar food is available during the Spring and Autumn months, on a Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. Food is usually served from the kitchen up until about an hour before closing time. Please ask at reception for details.
We have a licenced bar on the premises which is open to everyone. The bar is open all day everyday, but is only open late on weekends during the high seasons.
